American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring prior travel experience and Level 1 trauma OR background.
Requirements- Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Level 1 trauma OR experience required
- Experience in high-volume, high-acuity hospital environments with complex and diverse cases
- Strong OR skills checklist ratings required
- Burn experience preferred
- Operating Room (OR) unit in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
- Handles complex, high-volume, and diverse surgical cases including burn cases
- Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM on weekdays
- 12‑hour shifts with no block scheduling
- Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
- No on‑call requirements
- This facility is a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center known for complex, fast‑paced surgical cases
- Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospital settings will not be considered
