Intake Registered Nurse- Evening Shift

Job Title

Registered Nurse, Intake Assessment and Referrals – PRN Nights (7pm–7am)

Atlanta, Georgia – Anchor Hospital

Anchor Hospital, established in 1986, is a behavioral health and addiction treatment facility serving teens, adults, and seniors in Atlanta, Georgia. Located on a secluded 55‑acre campus, it is accredited by the Joint Commission and offers 24/7 free, confidential psychiatric assessment by Georgia behavioral health professionals.

• Deliver quality nursing care to psychiatric and chemically dependent adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients.
• Assess needs of walk‑in and phone callers and ensure referral to appropriate services or resources.
• Perform all aspects of the hospital assessment and referral process, including efficient communication with referral sources.
• Disposition of patients/clients immediately, arrange hospital transfer/discharge, and make connections to community agencies and resources.

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Requires 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse; preference for at least 6 months in psychiatric nursing.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
