Nurse Practitioner – Neurology
Location: Atlanta, Georgia

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Neurology team. This position provides comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, and ongoing management of neurological conditions while working collaboratively with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team.
Position Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and evaluation of presenting neurological concerns.
- Order and interpret appropriate laboratory studies, diagnostic testing, and screenings to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with evidence-based practice guidelines and state regulations.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and preventive health measures.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (Health Connect).
- Collaborate closely with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, continuing education, and clinical guideline development.
- Provide continuity of care by monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as appropriate.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required;
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred. - Minimum of three (3) years of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting.
- Minimum of two (2) years of Nurse Practitioner experience.
- Current Georgia Registered Nurse license.
- Current Georgia Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license with prescriptive authority.
- Current CPR certification.
