Family Nurse Practitioner (PRN) – Paragon Infusion Centers
Location:
4745 Ashford Dunwoody Rd. Suite D, Atlanta, GA 30338
Shift: Days – clinic open Monday‑Friday. 1‑5 shifts per week as needed. This role is onsite, requiring full‑time presence at the posted location to ensure consistent face‑to‑face collaboration and immediate support.
Key Responsibilities- Administers ordered therapies according to prescriber order, facility protocols, INS standards, and company policy and procedures.
- Completes admission process as directed by Center Director.
- Performs physical assessment on each patient as warranted and for new consults; refers to the NP on duty for complete physical assessment as needed.
- Documents all pertinent data in the patient’s medical record.
- Reports all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and follows up on any identified problems.
- Communicates effectively with the IV team regarding patient status and observations.
- Maintains patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA laws and regulations.
- Evaluates patient response to therapy and documents findings.
- Educates patients and/or family members regarding therapy plan.
- Participates in the Quality Improvement program.
- Ensures medication orders are complete, accurate, and up to date prior to treatment.
- Participates in the On‑Call program, which may include after‑hours, weekend, and holiday calls and visitations.
- Provides clinical coverage for nurse practitioners on PTO/LOA and may support new market launches.
- May travel to worksite and other locations as necessary.
- MS in Nursing and minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with IVs required.
- Current, active, and valid unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner license applicable to the state of practice.
- Active, current, and valid Family Nurse Practitioner Certification.
- Multi‑state licensure if providing services in multiple states.
- Completion of a Tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver.
- Healthcare experience with IVs strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of IV experience.
- Experience with Port, PICC, and Peripheral Line.
- Medication mixing experience.
- Titration experience.
