Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Start: 8/03/2026)
Schedule:
Night shift, 12 hours/day, 3 days per week (36 hours/week). Shift
Hours:
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
This role provides critical nursing support in the Pediatric Operating Room. The RN will perform peri‑operative care, collaborate with the surgical team, and manage anesthesia and patient monitoring during pediatric surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Deliver nursing care during pediatric operations.
- Assist anesthesia and surgical staff in patient preparation, monitoring, and postoperative care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
- Provide support during emergent and elective pediatric surgical cases.
- Licensed RN in the state of Georgia with a current state license.
- Minimum 2 years of operating room experience, preferably in pediatric surgery.
- Current BLS and PALS certifications.
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system.
- Flu vaccination required; refusal will not be accepted.
- Charge nurse experience required.
- Ready to go‑live (RTO) at time of submission.
- Substance‑screening and nicotine‑free facility test required.
- Office surgery experience not acceptable.
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Mon, Tue, Wed nights). Hospital policy requires compliance with the nicotine‑free facility test and drug screening.
This position does not require scrubbing but experience in the operating room is mandatory.
