Licensed Practical Nurse

JOB SUMMARY

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) / Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. They administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, assist with daily living activities, and document patient observations.

• Provide basic nursing care to patients, including administering medications and treatments.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition.
• Document patient observations and care provided in electronic health records.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.

Availability for various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as assigned.

• Valid state-issued LPN or LVN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Minimum of 1 year of LPN/LVN experience.

• Proficient in performing basic nursing procedures.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with electronic charting systems is a plus.

Experience with adult and geriatric patients.
