Role: A Medical Surgical Registered Nurse delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Responsibilities- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and document care
- Administer medications and treatments following standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families about procedures and treatments
- Ensure safety, infection control, and proper discharge planning
- Manage multiple patients, prioritize care, and maintain professional ethics
- Assist with diagnostic procedures and respond to patient needs
- Recent Med Surg RN experience (minimum one year)
- Valid RN license and current BLS certification
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to assist with patient mobility and equipment
- Proficiency in documentation and adherence to safety protocols
