Travel Registered Nurse (RN) CVOR

Role:
Specialty Registered Nurse – Surgical

Schedule:

Call:
Typically one weekday call each week and one weekend every 3–4 weeks. Weekends:
Rotates; number of weekend shifts per contract rotates.

Assignment Details:

• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Unit Population:
  Adults and geriatrics
• Floating:
  May float to Main OR as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• Required
  
  Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS
• Experience in community hospital and Trauma Level I or II preferred
• EMR:
  Epic
• Preferred
  
  Skills:
  
  Scrub experience in cardiovascular/vascular/thoracic surgery

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to individuals in a surgical setting.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to evaluate and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions before and after surgery.
• Assist with surgical procedures as required and ensure a sterile environment.
• Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery plans.

• RN licensure: GA license or Compact license required at time of submission
• All compliance documents due by Tuesday prior to start
• Orientation modules completed during orientation; non-billable hours may vary by specialty
