- Provide professional nursing care for adult cardiac patients in PCU/IMCU, including monitoring, assessments, and timely response to changes in condition.
- Manage telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms; administer and adjust cardiac medications as ordered.
- Administer IV infusions and drips (e.g., Milrinone, Dobutamine, vasopressors) with close hemodynamic monitoring and documentation.
- Collaborate with cardiology and multidisciplinary teams to implement treatment plans and ensure safe patient transitions.
- Maintain accurate, thorough documentation in the electronic health record; communicate changes to the care team.
- Prepare patients for procedures, discharge planning, and patient/family education; ensure infection prevention and patient safety standards.
- Active RN license in Georgia (or state of practice).
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of documented PCU/IMCU experience in a facility of comparable size.
- Demonstrated competency in telemetry and cardiac care, including handling cardiac drips and monitoring for complications.
- Ability to work a 2x3 night shift; adaptable to acute care needs and unit demand.
- Must have documented PCU experience and be comfortable working in a unit with a cardiac population.
