Position: Chief NCLEX Officer (CNO)

Job Overview

The Chief NCLEX Officer (CNO) leads Slone NCLEX’s educational efforts at Nursing CE Central, coordinating the creation and maintenance of NCLEX Test Prep materials, hosting webinars, and managing various projects. The role balances strategic planning with hands‑on project management in a dynamic, fast‑paced startup. Salary: $90,000-$125,000 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Lead all Slone NCLEX educational projects, working with leadership to strategize, plan, and implement.
  • Develop and validate all NCLEX Test Prep materials, including test questions, explanation videos, written content, and more.
  • Work with author network, contractors, and team members to outsource, review, and finalize applicable material additions.
  • Host regular and one‑off webinars for nursing students, including 1‑on‑1 and group sessions.
  • Stay current with NCLEX news and updates, managing materials to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform investigative research related to ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of various projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to manage and execute tasks, addressing roadblocks as needed.
  • Create and present data‑based reports that are direct and informational.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records; assist with other company initiatives and expansions as needed.
Qualifications
  • MSN or higher in nursing education or curriculum development (required).
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing education experience (required).
  • Preferred: APRN, 2 years in leadership, project management experience, NCLEX Test Prep experience, online education experience.
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills demonstrated in prior experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, proactive, and self‑motivated.
  • Outgoing and energetic, with ability to connect with people.
  • Dependable, professional, and collaborative, able to work independently as well.
  • Problem‑solving skills: evaluate an issue, investigate solutions, execute solutions.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional projects.
Hours and Schedule

Monday‑Friday, 8:00a.m.–4:30p.m.EST. Weekends and select holidays off.
