Job Purpose:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Lenbrook Square Foundation Inc. is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to residents on the 2nd floor. This role involves performing direct resident care duties under the supervision of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), ensuring the well-being and comfort of each resident in accordance with established protocols and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist residents with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.

Support residents with ambulation and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.

Take and record vital signs accurately, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising LPN.Maintain the confidentiality of resident information and facility operations, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.

Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Uphold the standards and values of Lenbrook Square Foundation Inc., contributing to a positive and respectful environment for residents and staff.

Required

Education:

Valid Georgia Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.

Must have CPR certification.

Internal candidates will be evaluated upon completion of educational training.

Required Experience:

Minimum of one (1) year experience in long-term care or acute care setting.

Ability to perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of LPNs.Proficiency in assisting with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).Skilled in ambulating and transfers.

Competence in taking and recording vital signs accurately.

Strong commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of the resident and facility.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
