The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Lenbrook Square Foundation Inc. is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to residents on the 2nd floor. This role involves performing direct resident care duties under the supervision of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), ensuring the well-being and comfort of each resident in accordance with established protocols and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Support residents with ambulation and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Take and record vital signs accurately, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising LPN.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of resident information and facility operations, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Uphold the standards and values of Lenbrook Square Foundation Inc., contributing to a positive and respectful environment for residents and staff.
Qualifications

Required

Education:

  • Valid Georgia Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
  • Must have CPR certification.
  • Internal candidates will be evaluated upon completion of educational training.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in long-term care or acute care setting.

  • Ability to perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of LPNs.
  • Proficiency in assisting with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Skilled in ambulating and transfers.
  • Competence in taking and recording vital signs accurately.
