American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level 1 trauma center requiring 4 years of adult and pediatric ED experience.
Details- Work in the Emergency Care Center of a large, high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
- Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts
- 3 shifts per week totaling 36 guaranteed hours weekly
- 13-week assignment length
- No on-call responsibilities
- Required to work 4 weekend shifts per month
- Block scheduling not approved for most units
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; TNCC and ENPC preferred
- Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric emergency department experience required
- Experience in high-volume, high-pressure trauma environments with diverse and severe cases required
- Level 1 trauma center experience preferred
- Large facility experience required; candidates limited to small or low-volume hospital experience will not be considered
- Conditional compliance may be accepted for credentialing proven to be in process
- Provide emergency nursing care in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex and challenging cases
- Candidates must demonstrate proven success managing critical, fast-paced trauma situations
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as the travel rate
