Perioperative Nursing Care in PACU

Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal recovery outcomes through skilled clinical interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient vital signs and recovery progress post-surgery in the PACU.
• Administer medications and interventions as ordered by physicians.
• Assess patient comfort, pain levels, and identify any adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure seamless patient recovery.
• Document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in current state of practice.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in PACU or critical care nursing.
• CPR and ACLS certification required.
• Ability to work 7p-7a shift including weekends.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
