Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Operating Room Registered Nurse

Seeking experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized surgical care in the Operating Room. The nurse will support a variety of service lines, ensuring patient safety and compliance with clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition pre- and post-surgery to ensure readiness and proper recovery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare the OR environment and necessary equipment.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals during procedures.
• Maintain strict adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
• Document all clinical interventions and patient responses accurately and comprehensively.
• Adapt to variable schedules, including day shifts on 3×12-hour shifts, and float within scope of practice.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid GA or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of Operating Room experience, including neurology, transplant, general surgery, GYN, and ortho cases.
• Demonstrate full compliance with onboarding and licensing requirements.
• Demonstrate proficiency in surgical procedures and patient monitoring.
• Have experience working within hospital or surgical center environments.
