Perform assigned patient care and observation duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or LPN, including but not limited to: cleaning the patient's room and operating clinical equipment;
Communicate with patients, families and the patient care team; promote a supportive environment and patient satisfaction;
Assist in emergency situations as directed by an RN/LPN; ensure hygiene, comfort, and rest measures are provided;
Operate medical devices and monitoring equipment and record patient intake and output;
Assist with patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and postmortem care; transport patients and specimens as needed
