Perioperative RN – Cardiothoracic/Vascular/Endovascular
Shift: Days Call:
Approximately 1 day/week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks (subject to change based on department needs) Weekend:
Only required when on call
Minimum: 2 years OR perioperative experience Required certifications: ACLS, BLS HARD STOP:
Experience with Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, Thoracic cases AND one of the following: CSFA, NBSTSA, or NCCSA Epic charting experience preferred Preferred:
Trauma Level I/II and community hospital experience
Provide direct patient care during perioperative procedures in the cardiothoracic, vascular, and endovascular specialties. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, ensuring all equipment is in proper working order. Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition during procedures. Educate patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care.
Privileging process must be completed prior to start (approximately 120 days from signature). RN licensure:
Required at the time of submission. All compliance documents due Tuesday prior to start. No holiday RTO accepted.
