Registered Nurse - CVOR

CVOR Registered Nurse Opportunity

Seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to provide specialized cardiac operating room care. The RN will support surgical procedures, ensure patient safety, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams during cardiac surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preoperative assessments and prepare patients for cardiac procedures.
• Assist surgical teams during cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to intraoperative changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient status, and intraoperative events.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Follow all safety protocols and compliance standards related to cardiac surgery care.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Georgia or a Compact State.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR or cardiac surgery settings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac operating room procedures and equipment.
• Possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to work effectively during variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
