Registered Nurse - PCU Float Pool
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week.
The PCU Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) with a focus on cardiac populations. This position will require floating to all relevant floors as needed. The nurse will manage patients recovering from conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, and other cardiac-related issues.
Provide nursing care to patients in a PCU/IMCU environment.
Administer medications and cardiac drips, including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors.
Monitor vital signs and interpret telemetry data.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EPIC EMR.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar sized facility.
Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
Active RN license in the appropriate state.
