LPN Charge Nurse

Sadie G. Mays Health & Rehab is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our community. We have full-time, part-time, and PRN openings with rotating or weekend requirements in a long-term care setting. The LPN Charge Nurse will provide direct nursing care to residents while supervising nursing activities during the assigned shift.

• Administer medication accurately, observe patient response, and document appropriately in the medical record to ensure lack of negative outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients and approved parties regarding the plan of care.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Answer and refer telephone calls or other inquiries to ensure accurate and timely communication.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of and compassion for human behavior and the psychological development of the aged.
• Assign staff to patients and oversee nursing activities during the shift.
• Ensure nursing operational standards are met consistently.

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of one year experience in long-term care settings preferred.

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate approach to patient care, especially with elderly populations.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
