Registered Nurse – ICU

Job Summary:

Provide specialized critical care nursing services in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care during night shifts. Assist in managing critically ill patients with a focus on patient stability and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition and prioritize care needs in the ICU.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and utilize advanced medical equipment.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies, providing life-saving interventions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse license.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent ICU experience.
• Maintain current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Preferably hold CCRN and NIHSS credentials.
• Be proficient in using Cerner and medical technologies common in ICU settings.
• Demonstrate strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
