American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for an ambulatory infusion center role requiring chemotherapy experience and an active GA or Compact RN license.
Details- Ambulatory Infusion Center setting at an outpatient oncology clinic
- Administers chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV fluid/electrolyte replacement via infusion pump
- Does not include drip rate calculations or vasopressor administration
- AM shift, 6a-3p, 4x10s totaling 40 hours per week
- 30-minute meal break included in shift
- No on-call requirements
- 13-week contract assignment
- Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand
- Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience required
- Chemotherapy administration experience required
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
- Former Emory or Houston system employees must be separated for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if requested near a holiday
- Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract
- Multiple RTO days requested consecutively around holidays are typically not approved and must be spread out
- Candidates may only be submitted to one position at a time
