Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift
This is a 12-hour night shift position.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a rapid admission unit. The unit primarily caters to general medical and surgical patients awaiting surgery. The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a rapid admission setting.
- Manage a patient ratio of 5-6:1, ensuring efficient and effective care.
- Monitor patient status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and treatment outcomes accurately.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical nursing specialty.
- Current RN license verification through Nursys.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS) must be maintained.
- Resume with no gaps greater than 60 days in work history.
- Completion of a skills checklist and provision of references.
