Registered Nurse - Mother Baby And Postpartum Care
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Mother Baby and Postpartum care to provide compassionate support and clinical expertise to new mothers and their infants. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment over a 13-week assignment.
Responsibilities:- Assess the health status of mothers and newborns to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate comprehensive postpartum and neonatal nursing services.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records and maintain compliance with hospital policies.
- Hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the relevant state.
- Possess previous experience in Mother Baby or Postpartum nursing.
- Demonstrate strong patient assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment over a 13-week assignment.
- Be willing to work a 7 am to 7 pm schedule.
- No local candidates within 50 miles preferred.
