Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical specialty to provide high-quality patient care. This role requires recent clinical experience and a commitment to holiday coverage, ensuring comprehensive patient support.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting, adhering to hospital protocols and standards.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs, responses to treatments, and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Document patient information accurately within electronic health records.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control procedures.
• Participate in holiday coverage as required, working two major and one minor holiday per year.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active and valid RN license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Maintain current AHA BLS certification.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills and patient assessment capabilities.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays, with a professional attitude.
