Job Summary:

The CVOR RN will provide specialized cardiovascular operating room nursing care during surgical procedures involving thoracic, transplant, and robotic cases. The role requires flexibility in floating within the facility and adherence to strict compliance and scheduling protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist during cardiovascular, thoracic, transplant, and robotic surgeries.
• Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment and supplies, ensuring sterile techniques.
• Monitor patient vitals and anesthesia levels throughout surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Document patient status, procedure details, and post-operative care information accurately.
• Comply with all facility policies, including holiday coverage and RTO requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Georgia or a Compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience, with first-time travel candidates accepted.
• Ability to pass clinical screening and meet Piedmont guidelines.
• Proficiency in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended shift hours.
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation.
