American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and Epic proficiency.

• Medical/Surgical unit with overflow oncology patients
• Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Deferred scheduling type with 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• No on-call requirements
• Expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Block scheduling generally not approved

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med/Surg specialty required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience in high-acuity, high-volume trauma hospitals required
• Proven background managing critical, fast-paced trauma cases required
• Certification card and Nursys license verification required for consideration

• Provide care for general medical/surgical patients as well as overflow oncology cases
• Work in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex and challenging cases
• No RTO permitted during contract
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel rate
• Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
