Travel Infusion RN

Gifted Healthcare is seeking a Travel Infusion RN for assignments in the Atlanta, GA area. In this role, you will provide specialized IV therapy and infusion services in acute and outpatient settings, managing central lines, pumps, and complex medication regimens. Responsibilities include patient assessment, safe medication administration, monitoring for adverse reactions, detailed EMR documentation, and patient education. Responsibilities

• Provide IV therapy and infusion services to diverse patient populations in acute and outpatient settings
• Start and manage peripheral IVs and maintain central lines (PICC, ports, CVCs) using aseptic technique
• Operate and troubleshoot infusion pumps and related equipment safely
• Assess patients before, during, and after infusions, monitoring for and managing adverse reactions
• Administer medications, blood products, and specialized therapies per provider orders and protocols
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMREducate patients and families on infusion therapies, side effects, and home-care considerations
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards at all times
• Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism while working as a travel RN across multiple facilities in Atlanta
