• Provide direct perioperative nursing care for surgical patients in the OR, including monitoring vital signs and patient status throughout procedures.
• Assist the surgical team with instrument handling, patient positioning, and maintaining sterile technique to uphold safety and infection control standards.
• Collaborate closely with anesthesia providers, circulator nurses, and other OR staff to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety.
• Prepare the OR, verify equipment and supplies, and assist with turnover between cases.
• Document perioperative care and activity in the electronic health record, and communicate changes in patient condition to the team.

• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• High rating on skills checklist, including neuro and vascular competencies
• Proficiency with Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard; must have electronics to access these applications
• Availability for call, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work effectively in a hospital operating room environment
