American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring 18 months of specialty experience and a GA or compact license in hand.
Details- Med/Surg unit (Surg Onc/Gyn/Uro) in a hospital setting
- AM shift, 3x12s, 36 hours per week
- No on-call requirements
- 13-week assignment with available start dates every Monday
- Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand
- Minimum 18 months of specialty experience within the past 3 years
- Strong wound care experience required
- Experience with epidurals required
- Experience with insulin drips required
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
- Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday
- Only one holiday RTO request allowed per assignment
