PACU Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the PACU specialty.
ScheduleThis role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 10:30 PM. The unit operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and requires participation in holiday coverage.

Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess recovery progress.
- Administer medications and manage postoperative pain relief.
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
- Current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- NIHSS certification is preferred.
- Previous experience with higher acuity cases, including Thoracic, Orthopedic, Neurology, Vascular, Urology, and General surgery cases.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
Candidates must be willing to work two major holidays from the following:
Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and one minor holiday, which includes the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
