Job Summary

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nurse position in the healthcare facility. This role involves caring for patients in a hybrid environment of stepdown and telemedicine-medical-surgical units, with a focus on cardiac patient care. The position requires maintaining a high standard of clinical expertise and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Job Details
  • Certifications:

    BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
  • Education Requirements:

    Appropriate credentials for a Progression Care Unit nurse, including licensure and certification.
  • Location Requirements:
    Candidates must be eligible to work in the designated area.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 2 years in a similar sized facility with responsibilities involving cardiac patient care, including STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and C/P.
  • Schedule:

    Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Responsibilities include managing cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors), monitoring telemetry beds, and providing comprehensive patient care within a 28-bed PCU/IMCU setting.
  • Candidates will be responsible for accurate documentation, patient assessment, and following hospital protocols.
