Ally Psychiatry is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) to provide occasional PRN weekend coverage at Laurel Heights Hospital in Atlanta, GA
.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced psychiatric APP looking to supplement their current schedule while remaining active in inpatient behavioral health. We are especially interested in providers who have experience working with child and adolescent (C/A) populations and are comfortable caring for patients in an acute inpatient psychiatric setting.

This PRN opportunity is ideal for providers who enjoy inpatient psychiatry and want the flexibility to pick up weekend shifts as needed without a long term schedule commitment.

• PRN weekend coverage
• Occasional Saturday and Sunday shifts based on coverage needs
• Inpatient psychiatric rounding
• Collaborative multidisciplinary treatment team
• Flexible scheduling with no minimum weekly commitment

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow up assessments
• Diagnose and manage acute psychiatric conditions
• Develop and adjust treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, nursing staff, and case management
• Complete timely and accurate documentation within the EMR
• Provide compassionate, patient centered care in an inpatient behavioral health setting

• Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or qualified Psychiatric Physician Assistant
• Active Georgia license or ability to obtain
• DEA registration or eligibility
• Previous inpatient psychiatric experience strongly preferred
• Child and adolescent psychiatric experience highly preferred
• Comfortable working in an acute inpatient behavioral health environment
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Dependable and able to provide occasional weekend coverage
