Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (for internal purposes; actual compensation discussed upon application)

- Provide advanced neonatal care for critically ill and premature newborns in a Level III NICU
- Manage and support 1,400-1,500 NICU admissions annually
- Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatric intensivists, and nursing staff to deliver evidence-based, individualized treatment plans
- Support stabilization, treatment, and ongoing care for fragile infants
- Engage in clinical decision-making within a multidisciplinary team
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and data collection efforts
- Contribute to a growing, innovative neonatal program with emphasis on compassionate care
Required:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Georgia or ability to obtain
- Pediatric or Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification (or eligible)
- BLS and NRP certifications
- Prior experience in neonatal intensive care (preferred but not mandatory for new graduates)
- Experience in high-acuity neonatal environments
- Ability to work flexible 24-hour shifts
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
