American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a Float Pool position requiring GA or compact RN license and prior Level 1 trauma center experience.
Details- ICU Float Pool position covering all critical care floors, ER and ER hold, and MTC/Step-Down/PACU for holds as needed
- Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Uses Epic EMR
- Travelers expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
- Block scheduling not typically approved
- Active GA or compact RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in a similarly sized facility
- Experience in a high-acuity, high-volume Level 1 trauma center required
- Proven success managing critical, fast-paced trauma situations
- Provide critical care nursing support across multiple high-acuity units as part of a float pool
- Work in a high-intensity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center environment
- Minimal RTO availability during the assignment
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
