American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an ICU/ER overflow position requiring ICU or ER experience and NIHSS certification at a very busy hospital.

• Work in the Emergency Services department, serving as overflow area for ICU patients
• Care for ICU-level patients within the ED overflow unit
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• 13-week assignment

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license in hand
• 18 months of RN experience required
• ICU and/or ER experience required
• NIHSS certification required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Provide direct patient care to ICU-level patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity ED overflow setting
• Travel experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered; no local candidates accepted
• Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• Strict RTO policy: max 5 days off if not near a holiday, max 3 days if near a holiday, and only 1 holiday request allowed per assignment
