Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Postpartum – Georgia
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, weekend shifts required, schedule varies
Highlights:- Postpartum specialty in a high-volume, fast-paced unit
- 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekend coverage
- Minimum 2 years of recent postpartum nursing experience required
- Holiday coverage required: 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Ideal for experienced travel nurses comfortable in dynamic, high-acuity environments
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility location
- Active Georgia RN license or compact state license
- Minimum 2 years of recent postpartum nursing experience
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Experience as a travel nurse strongly preferred due to unit pace and patient volume
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced postpartum nurse to join a high-volume maternal care unit in a vibrant metropolitan area.
