Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensed Veterinary Technician based in Atlanta, GA. The Licensed Veterinary Technician will provide exemplary care to patients by assisting in medical and surgical procedures, monitoring anesthesia, educating clients on pet care, and supporting daily operations in the practice. Responsibilities include handling animals, administering treatments, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring patient comfort and well-being.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Animal Care, Pet Care, and handling skills for a variety of animal species
  • Knowledge and experience in Veterinary Technology, including diagnostics, medications, and treatments
  • Skills in Client Education to effectively communicate with pet owners about pet care, health, and treatments
  • Experience in Anesthesiology, including monitoring and ensuring the safety of animals during procedures
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with veterinarians and fellow staff members
  • Certification as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency or specialty care setting
  • Strong organizational skills and commitment to continuous learning
