Pool Gate​/Towel Shop Attendant Spring​/Summer

Job Summary

The Seasonal Pool Gate/Towel Shop Attendant controls the flow of membership into and out of the pool area. This person also hands out towels, assists members and deals with the products that are sold in the towel shop.

• Welcome members as they come to the pool.
• Keeps an accurate record of members coming into the pool area.
• Reviews the approved swimmer list and identifies children who are not on the list and tags them with the appropriate wrist bracelet.
• Assists in keeping the pool deck clean and tidy.
• Hands out towels to membership.
• Keeps the towel shop clean and tidy.
• Issues swim diaper wristband.
• Keeps towels stocked on shelves.
• Completes other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma preferred.
• Good customer service skills and good communication skills are required.
• Must be able to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Must be punctual.

• Occasional bending, stooping, lifting, and pulling.
• Frequent sitting and standing.
• Must be able to work in a hot outdoor environment.

This is a seasonal part-time position. The assigned hours to this position vary each week according to event schedules, but include working on holidays and weekends.
