• 1. Assists Pathologists, Histology Technicians and Grossing Technicians in assuring proper handling of processed tissue and contributes to smooth morning workflow.
• 2. Calls physician offices to verify specimen information when necessary.
• 3. Enters patient demographics and specimen data as needed.
• 4. Maintains laboratory equipment and chemicals in accordance laboratory procedures.
• 5. Other duties or special projects considered necessary by the Physicians or Laboratory Manager.
