We are seeking a passionate, hands-on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) professional who thrives on building relationships, influencing positive change, and making a tangible impact across multiple manufacturing locations.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and partner to site leadership, helping create safer workplaces, strengthen environmental stewardship, and foster a culture where every employee takes ownership of safety. You will leverage your technical expertise, practical problem-solving skills, and collaborative approach to support risk management, regulatory compliance, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This position will ideally support 6-8 assigned locations, with occasional coverage expanding to up to 13 sites nationwide based on business needs, and will require up to 75% travel. Ideally, candidates will be based near the Atlanta, GA, or Chicago, IL areas to support travel and operational needs.
** What You'll Do*
* + Partner with multiple sites to identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards through proactive risk assessments, audits, inspections, and observations.
+ Lead and support incident investigations, identify root causes, and drive effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
+ Deliver engaging EHS training and coaching programs that build knowledge, accountability, and a strong safety-first culture.
+ Champion a positive safety culture by influencing and engaging employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
+ Support the implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and corporate initiatives while ensuring consistency across assigned locations.
+ Collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to drive safety and environmental improvement projects.
+ Help sites maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other applicable regulations while staying current on evolving industry requirements and best practices.
+ Travel regularly to support assigned facilities and build strong partnerships with local teams.
** What You'll Bring*
* + A passion for safety and a genuine commitment to protecting people, the environment, and the business.
+ Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all organizational levels.
+ Demonstrated ability to identify risks, solve problems, and implement practical solutions in dynamic operational environments.
+ Experience leading training programs, conducting incident investigations, and supporting regulatory compliance initiatives.
+ A proactive, continuous improvement mindset with a focus on delivering results and driving positive change.
+ Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently to provide onsite support across multiple locations.
** What We're Looking For*
* We're seeking a proactive EHS professional who is passionate about safety, enjoys partnering directly with operations teams, and thrives in a dynamic, multi-site environment.
** Required Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 3 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment.
+ Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
+ Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
+ Proven ability to train, coach, and influence employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
+ Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS management software.
+ Must be based at an ICPG manufacturing facility, which will serve as the employee's home site.
+ Ability to travel up to 80% of the time to support multiple manufacturing locations.
