Laboratory Technician - Hematology

This is a 13-week contract position.

7 AM - 3:30 PM with variations and requires every other weekend rotation.

We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician with a specialty in Hematology. The ideal candidate will possess core lab experience, particularly with the Sysmex and Cella Vision systems. Familiarity with a busy hospital laboratory environment is essential, especially in handling large volumes of complex samples including turbid specimens, platelet clumps, and abnormal cell findings.

Responsibilities:

• Perform hematology testing and analysis with precision.
• Utilize Sysmex and Cella Vision systems effectively.
• Manage and process a variety of complex samples with accuracy.
• Conduct differentials and other essential laboratory procedures.
• Adhere to safety and quality regulations in a laboratory setting.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience in hematology within a large hospital laboratory (600+ beds).
• Demonstrated competency in handling complex laboratory challenges.
• Ability to perform under high workloads and fast-paced environments.
