The QUIKRETE® Companies is seeking a motivated individual to join our team at our state-of-the-art Engineering & Technical Center in Johns Creek, Georgia. As an Associate QA Process Engineer
, you will play a key role in ensuring our products consistently meet QC and QA performance standards—from raw material qualification through finished product development, while supporting our manufacturing facilities, sales teams, and customers.
- As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you’ll lead and support initiatives that impact product quality, consistency, and cost across our operations.
- Evaluate finished product QA test results to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications.
- Design and oversee laboratory experiments to qualify new raw materials and suppliers.
- Optimize plant formulations for performance and cost efficiency.
- Support manufacturing plants through troubleshooting, QC training, and formula management.
- Conduct / participate in plant quality audits.
- Collaborate with Sales to provide product recommendations and develop project-specific solutions.
- Assist customers with technical guidance, issue resolution, and product performance inquiries.
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science, or a related discipline.
- A civil engineering degree with a materials focus would also be interesting.
- Experience with manufacturing and formulation of cement, concrete, mortars, or other cement-based construction materials preferred.
- 0-10 years’ experience in Quality Assurance.
- Strong problem-solving ability using logic and reasoning to evaluate solutions.
- Ability to prioritize work based on business impact and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with diverse teams.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage longer-term projects alongside routine responsibilities.
