Work Schedule may fluctuate based on the project; start time may vary between 7 am to 8 am and end between 3:30 pm – 4 pm.
This person will be working outdoors most of the day on a construction site.
Job DescriptionGeorgia Green Energy Services (GGES) is currently seeking a dedicated Electrical Apprentice to fill Quality Assurance duties. The Quality Electrical Apprentice plays a crucial role in ensuring that our electrical construction projects meet and exceed quality standards and specifications. They assist the QA/QC team in inspections and technical testing activities. The Electrical Apprentice measures, monitors, and improves the organization’s quality compliance with external regulatory requirements and quality policies.
Key Responsibilities- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Construction, Electrical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field, or at least 2 years of experience in quality assurance within construction or the electrical industry.
- Proven experience in QA/QC in construction or electrical projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, and other relevant project management and engineering software.
- Certifications such as CQA, CQT, CCQM, CESCP, and NEC are advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Clean MVR.
- Must be able to work outside on a construction site.
- Must pass drug screen and background check.
Mobility: Ability to move around construction sites, including climbing ladders, walking on uneven terrain, and navigating through crowded or confined spaces.
Stamina: Ability to work full days on site and in challenging environmental conditions.
Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry equipment, tools, and inspection devices.
Manual Dexterity: Precise inspection tasks and hand tool use require good manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination.
Vision and Hearing: Clear vision for inspecting work and reading documents; good hearing for communication and safety awareness.
Environmental Tolerance: Ability to work comfortably in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, and dust.
Climbing: Comfortable with climbing structures or equipment when required.
Bending and Kneeling: Ability to bend, kneel, and crouch to access specific areas and examine details.
Travel RequirementsThe position requires some travel.
