PIPELINE: Quality Systems Engineer

Anduril’s Quality organization seeks a Quality System Engineer to develop future opportunities for our internal quality management system and digitization efforts. The team works with customers, internal teams, and suppliers to ensure reliable products that meet all mission requirements. We develop cutting‑edge quality processes and methods to secure scalable, long‑term business success. This role focuses on internal site growth and implementing a world‑class quality management system software application to support manufacturing and supplier sites.

• Develop, lead, and manage the execution of the QMS and its top‑level processes, coordinating resources and prioritizing tasks for internal and external audits.
• Lead the QMS software implementation and adoption across Anduril sites, managing resources and prioritizing implementation and audit activities.
• Partner with product quality engineers and manufacturing engineers to prepare new processes, digital tools, and sites to meet QMS requirements and conduct internal audits before manufacturing readiness reviews.
• Develop the internal QMS roadmap for tools and capabilities to support company scaling and new product quality.
• Serve as a systems expert for Anduril’s quality tools, processes, and data sets to enable effective QMS execution.
• Communicate with external audit agencies and support customer audits.
• Manage the internal auditor process and participate as an auditor.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for the QMS and product quality.
• Support investigations, initiatives, and projects at the team or organization level.
• Develop QMS training modules and manage training records with the manager of affected trainees.
• Drive root‑cause analysis and corrective action for internal audit findings and customer visits.

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of experience in aerospace and/or defense manufacturing.
• Expert knowledge of QMS requirements and auditing in a complex product environment and familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, AS9110C, AS9120B, AS6500, IATF 16949:2016, ISO 13485:2016, TL 9000 R6.3.
• Experience with QMS software solutions such as Net Inspect, Siemens, SAP, ETQ, One Factory, Master Control, Compliance Quest, Hexagon, PTC, or QT9.
• Hands‑on experience with data analytics platforms, reporting tools, and data visualization.
• Demonstrated project‑management experience for software system implementation and onboarding suppliers and internal users.
• Knowledge of design, development, manufacturing, supply chain, deployment, contracts, and related organizations that are part of a company‑wide audit.
• Knowledge of ERP, PLM, and BI systems.
• Strong ownership mindset and proven ability to drive projects to completion.
• Proven track record of QMS implementation and success.
• U.S. Person status required for access to export‑controlled data.
• Will travel up to 20 % of the time.

• Certification as an AS9100 aerospace auditor or lead auditor.
• ASQ certifications such as CQE, CRE, CMQ/OE, CQA.
• Experience with low volume, high‑complexity manufacturing.
• Experience onboarding teams through mergers and acquisitions and managing remote site QMS.
