LPB1 Quality Manager – Finished Goods Warehouses
The LPB1 Quality Manager – Finished Goods Warehouses is responsible for leading and maintaining quality systems, compliance, and product integrity within finished goods warehouse operations. This role ensures that products stored, handled, and shipped from warehouse locations meet internal quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements. The position partners closely with warehouse operations, logistics, manufacturing, planning, customer service, and central quality teams to drive continuous improvement, prevent nonconformances, support timely resolution of quality issues, and lead escape reduction as GE Vernova strives to meet a zero-defect framework.
Roles and responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end QA/QC for finished goods—including receipt, storage, handling, and shipment readiness—ensuring all operations comply with internal SOPs, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitating quality guidance and training for warehouse personnel promoting an SQDC culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the operation.
- Leading rigorous root cause investigations for warehouse quality escapes such as damage, wrong part, incomplete material, or shipping discrepancies, driving sustainable Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
- Analyzing quality trends and performance metrics to identify systemic risks, reporting findings to leadership to drive data-based improvement initiatives.
- Supporting and guiding warehouse personnel on quality requirements, material handling standards, parts quarantine with traceability process, and escalation procedures.
- Partnering with 3PL providers and GE Vernova Warehouse operations team to mitigate risks such as product damage, wrong parts, contamination, mislabeling, and shipping errors.
- Reviewing, creating, and optimizing standard work, procedures, and work instructions to ensure they reflect best practices and mitigate quality risks.
- Serving as one of the primary points of contact for annual internal/external audits and customer inspections, ensuring the warehouse consistently meets all quality assessment criteria.
- Collaborating with manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure proper material status and packaging control from goods receipt through shipment to customer.
- Supporting the site lean roadmap for warehousing, ensuring alignment and synergy between internal materials planning and operations.
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, warehouse quality, manufacturing quality, or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, Lean principles, corrective action processes, and nonconformance management.
- Experience working in finished goods warehouse or distribution environments with manual processes.
- Proficiency with Oracle and SAP ERP systems and quality documentation processes.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience leading audits and managing CAPA systems.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other applicable quality management standards.
- Experience in regulated or high-compliance environments.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
- Experience supervising or coaching quality with 3rd party suppliers or 3PL warehouse personnel.

Physical/work environment requirements include:
- Primarily warehouse based work environment.
