CQA Technician

Construction Quality Assurance Technician

We are looking for someone to perform Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) services for primarily landfill and landfill gas projects throughout the SE states.

How you can make an impact as a Construction Quality Assurance Technician:

• Conduct daily site inspections at landfills or construction sites.
• Oversight and inspection engineering management of landfill gas and landfill construction (cell and closure) to ensure compliance with design plans.
• Construction quality assurance (CQA) for compliance with drawings and technical specifications.
• Soil sampling and testing onsite.
• Coordinate with General Contractors and Subcontractors.
• Responsible for submitting a daily written and photo log reports.
• Preparation of construction documentation reports as requested.
• Assist in training engineering technicians, associate staff, and staff professionals in field activities.
• Assists in office operations when requested.

Additional Skills &

Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in active construction sites or engineering field work preferred.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record required, as company vehicles are provided.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and read maps and construction plans required.
• Strong oral presentation, and written communication skills.
• Geosynthetics or soils knowledge preferred.
• Experience with field inspections or reporting required.

Travel Requirements:

Will travel for 5-7 weeks at a time to work on projects throughout the southeastern states, primarily GA, FL, AL, NC, SC. Will have a company truck and fuel card provided, daily per diem, weekly pay, lodging provided, etc.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
