Sample Login Technician - Eurofins Environment Testing Southeast - Atlanta, GA

The Sample Login Technician will perform duties related to receiving, logging in and routing samples to the appropriate laboratory. This is a fast-paced role where attention to detail and accurate data entry into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) are essential.

• Interact with clients to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Remove samples from the cooler, sort, and document sample integrity.
• Ensure all required documentation is thoroughly and accurately completed.
• Recognize short-hold samples and those requiring expedited logging and delivery to the lab.
• Learn appropriate test codes for various sample matrices.
• Properly label samples and manage those with short holding times or rush turnaround.
• Scan and extract Chains of Custody (COC) and internal Chains of Custody Records (COCR).
• Assist with other responsibilities in the Sample Receiving Department as needed (e.g., asbestos login, bottle order preparation, bottle preservation).
• Adhere to all SOPs, QA manuals, analytical and quality control protocols relevant to the role.

Basic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ):

Education/

Experience:

• High school diploma or GED

• Science degree preferred but not required

Abilities/

Skills:

• Team player with good communication and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

• Computer proficiency

• Knowledge of sample bottle types and preservation preferred

• Detail oriented, flexible, dependable, and willing to learn

• Willing to work nights and weekends if necessary

Requirements:

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)

Position is full-time, Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm. Candidates within commutable distance of Atlanta, GA are encouraged to apply.

Pay rate: $18-20/hr
