Quality Control Manager

The Axel Group is seeking a Quality Control Manager for our client's team. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of up to $160,000 annually. The role involves overseeing quality assurance and control on a large-scale, multi-year life-sciences construction project in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Quality Control/Quality Assurance plans.
• Establish quality standards, procedures, and inspection requirements throughout all phases of construction.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify work compliance with contract documents, drawings, specifications, and applicable building codes.
• Coordinate and document inspections, testing, and quality control activities.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to identify, track, and resolve deficiencies.
• Provide guidance and training to project staff and subcontractors on quality control procedures and expectations.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in quality control within technically complex construction environments, such as life sciences, healthcare, laboratories, or mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of contract documents, specifications, and building codes.
• Proven ability to lead quality assurance efforts in large-scale construction projects.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
