Newrest ATL has an exciting opportunity for a Fridge/Quality Control Supervisor. This individual is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving the quality control and food safety process. Ensuring compliance with company quality standards. Supervise, train, and motivate QC Auditors to achieve departmental goals.
Essential Functions:

- Responsible for supervising and checking all food production requirements are fulfilled.
- Ensure correct number of meals for each flight are ready, packed and assigned correctly according to all customer specifications & client instructions booklets.
- Check aircraft trolleys and meals to ensure all are adhering to Newrest high quality standards.
- Assist in assembly line when necessary to help them complete flight on time, helping by providing efficient & diligent last-minute help (setting up trays, preparing and packaging food, put the final touch to required delivery).
- Conduct physical counts and pack additional equipment or products.
- Assist in inventory when needed.
- Comply with all safety rules and company standards.
- Check conformity and quantity of trolleys and boxes to be delivered before loading.
- Communicate any malfunction to hierarchy and other teams.
- Maintain clean working area, maintain clean loading docks, maintain clean equipment following rules.
- Interface with Production Supervisors and hourly employees on production, food safety, quality procedures.
- Responsible for training and professional development of QC Staff.
- Maintain Quality Reporting.
- Departmental Administrative Duties (i.e. Time cards, employee paperwork, safety audits).
- Provide Training for production, sanitation, maintenance, and quality control groups. Training includes but no limited to product quality standards, GMP’s, Food Safety Issues, HACCP.
- Assist in implementing, maintaining, evaluating, enforcing, and updating USDA regulatory, Corporate Guidelines and QC Programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Managers.
